THE FINISHING DETAIL

Countertop edge profiles

The edge profile is the small detail that quietly defines how your countertop looks and feels under your hand. Here are the profiles we're asked for most — and we're glad to talk through others. Not sure which suits your kitchen? We'll bring samples when we measure so you can see and feel them in your own space.

Eased (Square)

A clean, square edge with the sharp corners gently softened. The most popular choice — timeless, modern, and at home in almost any kitchen.

Beveled

A crisp 45-degree cut across the top edge for a clean, architectural line. Understated but distinctly intentional.

Half Bullnose

The top edge rounded into a smooth quarter-curve while the bottom stays square. Soft to the touch and very easy to wipe down.

Full Bullnose

Both the top and bottom rounded into a full half-circle. Seamless, family-friendly, and free of any hard corners.

Ogee

An elegant S-shaped curve that catches the light. A classic, high-end detail for traditional and transitional kitchens.

Mitered (Built-up)

Two pieces joined to create a thick, substantial front edge — the bold, modern look of a solid slab without the weight or cost.
